The story tells the story of a couple, ANN and PATRICK, who have just been dating for three months. When they were enjoying their time at home, they suddenly heard a loud noise from the kitchen; it turned out that it was ANN's ex-boyfriend DAVE who broke into the house through the window. DAVE not only discovered that ANN had changed the locks on all doors and windows; he didn't even know when he had become his "ex-boyfriend"!

The three of them all "thought" they faced reality bravely, "thought" they maturely solved the mistakes at hand, "thought" they loved each other honestly, and "thought" they could understand a relationship by hurting each other.
